Project Overview
Lee Contracting delivered an extensive groundworks package for The Gables, a residential development located near Crosby in Liverpool.
The scheme comprised 30 new homes ranging from two to four bedrooms, requiring a coordinated approach to infrastructure, drainage,
substructure works, and external finishes to support timely delivery.
Scope of Works
- Attenuation pipework – 90m of 750mm diameter pipe installed at depths of up to 3m
- Reinforced strip foundations for residential plots
- Power-floated concrete floor slabs installed on impermeable gas membranes (approx. 1,500m²)
- Private plot drainage installations
- Service trench excavation and installation
- Private road infrastructure – approximately 1,060m² of tarmac surfacing
- Hard landscaping including 2,200m² of block paving and 620m² of flagging
